WOW! What a race. Chico Racing held their annual 24HR summer solstice race this past weekend (aka mud fest). The rain on Saturday made it an event to remember, in fact turning a 24 hour race into the 12HR summer solstice. Chico Racing always puts on a good show, well run. Our bike club had about 53 riders on eight teams entered this year and I would say we did great. Three teams on the podium... congratulations to the Vienna Cowboys, The Dukes of Albion and the Trail Pounders, great job. I would like to thank everyone who had a hand in the planning, campsite setup, etc. to make this event happen for our club. Your efforts do not go unnoticed.
